Home Church: Richland Bible
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35 - 39

It has been my pleasure serving on the board the past five years but my true joy comes from volunteering at KDC. I feel privileged to be a part of this God blessed organization.

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17

What a joy it has been to be a part of this ministry for the past several months! I am excited about the future of KDC and how that includes me. I have always had a passion for helping others, and look forward to doing just that as a Board Member.

It is my privilege to serve on the board of the Kalamazoo Deacons Conference because of the valuable service this organization provides to those in need of support both materially and spiritually. By serving on the board, I hope to make a positive contribution to this mission of service to the community.

I have been Blessed since I joined the KDC Board. I am glad that God has blessed me with another way to help change lives, strengthen families, and impact our community.
Regardless of the challenges, or difficulties we are faced with dealing with, remeber the words of God spoken by the prophet Joel 3:10 "Let the weak say, I am Strong."

What a blessing it has been for me to serve at KDC for the past two years as a DRS. I look forward to furthering KDC’s mission by also serving on the board.
But whoever has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 1 John 3:17 There is no doubt that the responsibility rests on us to care for those in need, whether emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually.
Over the years I've heard nothing but good things about the positive and spiritual influence that the Kalamazoo Deacons Conference has brought to our community. Thousands of individuals and families have been touched by KDC during their many years of existence. It's an honor to serve as a board member and become a part of this powerful and caring agency.

"Carrying out this social relief work involves far more than helping meet the bare needs of the poor. It also produces abundant and bountiful thanksgivings to God. This relief offering is a prod to live at your very best, showing your gratitude to God by being openly obedient to the plain meaning of the Message of Christ. You show your gratitude through your generous offerings to your needy brothers and sisters, and really toward everyone." 2 Corinthians 9:12-13 (MSG)

I have had the delight of assisting with the Face It program at KDC for 2 years now. Seeing the faces of those that have lost hope enter KDC and find new life in Christ has been such an inspiration to me. KDC provides not only for the physical needs, but the spiritual as well. The healthy partnership that this ministry has with area churches, schools, city officials, and various non-profits assists in making them enormously effective in their mission. I look forward to seeing KDC grow and blossom as we stand on Luke 1:37 “For NOTHING is impossible with God.”

It is such a privilege to be a part of the KDC Board. After having a chance to volunteer as a DRS worker, I really understand the need for KDC and I'm looking forward to being a part of their mission of service to the community. KDC is a blessing and I hope to be a blessing to someone. Helping others and providing hope as always been a passion of mine.
