Run for the Son is a 5K run/walk sponsored by local churches held on the last Saturday of September to support the Kalamazoo Deacons Conference.

Urban Youth for Africa is a KDC program that began in 2009 as a desire to creatively and purposefully impact underprivileged youth in Kalamazoo by giving them a chance to step out of their circumstances and realize the incredible power they possess to change their world for the better.

The WMU Women's Volleyball team have volunteered at KDC several times this summer. They have been a great help with preparing items for our new store - Simple Treasures and they've helped with several mailings. Thanks, girls!!
