KDC celebrated 40 years of God's faithfulness to our ministry with a special service featuring keynote speaker Pastor Ed Dobson, author of Living Like Jesus

Run for the Son is a sponsored by local churches as a Christian outreach event. It is also a major fundraiser for the Kalamazoo Deacons Conference. Thank you Southern Heights CRC, New Vintage Ministries, North Park Reformed, Westwood CRC, sponsors, volunteers and participants.

Students at Kalamazoo Christian Middle School served in their community following a series on Social Justice.

Freshman, sophomores and juniors from Kalamazoo Christian spent a morning serving at various sites around the community.

The Kalamazoo Deacons Conference partnered with the Family Health Center to provide backpacks and school supplies for students returning to school. Thank you to the many people donated items and to WayFm for supporting this project through the Class Act Back Pack Drive.

Members of the Korean Christian Reformed Church planted flowers in LaCrone Park to prepare it for the community to enjoy the park for the summer and for the KDC events that will take place in the park.

The DeNooyer family and Metro Toyota generously donated a truck to the Kalamazoo Deacons Conference. It is an answer to many years of prayer. It will allow us to be more efficient, economical and professional in the things we do.

We could not operate without our dedicated volunteers. As a token of our gratitude, an appreciation lunch was held for the volunteers that are in our building on a routine basis. To include all the volunteers from all of our events would be hundreds a year!

The high school youth group from Third CRC spent time at KDC painting.

Members of Richland Bible painted the clothing area and others made quilts to donate to KDC.

800 high school students came to Kalamazoo for a weekend convention. Among their activities was service in the community. Two groups spent an afternoon at KDC assisting with painting and mailings.

Four local churches combined their middle school youth groups for service projects around Kalamazoo.

The Kalamazoo Central High School Girls Basketball team painted the household area as a Service Project.

Seniors at Hackett High School spent a day in service to their community. A group led by Deborah Gambon helped KDC by packaging diapers and laundry soap for guests.

January 19 a group honored the day with service at the Kalamazoo Deacons Conference.
