The Kalamazoo Deacons Conference partnered with the Family Health Center to provide backpacks and school supplies for students returning to school. Thank you to the many people donated items and to WayFm for supporting this project through the Class Act Back Pack Drive.

Members of the Korean Christian Reformed Church planted flowers in LaCrone Park to prepare it for the community to enjoy the park for the summer and for the KDC events that will take place in the park.

The DeNooyer family and Metro Toyota generously donated a truck to the Kalamazoo Deacons Conference. It is an answer to many years of prayer. It will allow us to be more efficient, economical and professional in the things we do.

We could not operate without our dedicated volunteers. As a token of our gratitude, an appreciation lunch was held for the volunteers that are in our building on a routine basis. To include all the volunteers from all of our events would be hundreds a year!

800 high school students came to Kalamazoo for a weekend convention. Among their activities was service in the community. Two groups spent an afternoon at KDC assisting with painting and mailings.
